Boxster Converion

I've read many posts, done the search thing, but can't find what I'm looking for.

I'd like to do a conversion on a Porsche Boxster. My question is, what would work better for fender flares, GT-2 or GT-3 (Porsche). They will be done with Tamiya kits.

Thanks,
Trevor

ZoomZoom fit a gt3 bodykit onto a boxster.

Is that what you meant?

A Boxster with fender flares, like a GT-3RS.

Blubaja, Thank you, that is close to what I'm after.

Trevor,

Scale Production is selling the transkit for the GT3-R which includes the wide fenders.

Check this http://www.automobilminiaturen.de/as...ndex2.html</a>

The transkit is the No. SPTK 24009 available at Stradasports and Island Collectibles.

Re: Boxster Converion

Dale has done an excellent Boxster conversion.

If you are asking what kind of material to use, the answer is styrene sheet, epoxy and polyester putty.

Yes, it fits quite well. I may have had to do a couple tiny XActo cuts on the front bumper cover or trim a locating pin where it meets the leading edge of the hood. I had to do more work to get the GT3-style wing to fit.
