might part with the G :(

and get a Z! :flash:

But it would have to be a pretty cheap Z. I decided on the 300ZX. I'm thinking either a late model Z31 turbo (~87-89) or a Z32 N/A (90-~92). two completely different cars, yet still very similar in performance.

Anyone have any suggestions as to which might be a more desireable car? I've never driven either one of them. Ill have to find some want ads and do some test driving.

decisions decisions

oh thats a NISSAN for those of you who dont have a clue :silly2:

The choice is yours in the end, but if you get a Honda, we might have to disown you! :right:

Out with Honda in with Infiniti!

Its funny, you thinkin bout partin with your G. I am just about to part with my Lude (bye bye) and moving towards my much desired Infiniti G20T. Picking him up on Tuesday, and I can't wait!!!

My CosmicG20T, not only in performance, but in looks too - my silver ride, with his slick custom front skirt and spoiler.......its ready to take off in the streets of Toronto!!!!

ATTACHED IS A PIC OF THE COSMICG20T RIDE, THERE WILL BE MORE TO COME...

Youre gonna part with your G to get some old a$$ Nissan 300ZX. I wouldnt give mines for that. I had to choose from a 93' 3000GT Twin Turbo AWD with 19'inch wheels , racing clutch, short shifter, and exhaust. I couldnt handle that thing holding the RPM's and dropping the clutch in first gear, it was super fast but i thought about my LIFE, INSURANCE, GAS, SEATS, MITSUBISHI.....HPMPHH or pimp the hoes and have a BRAND NEW Sport Luxury Sedan that will never give me problems, so I went with the G. :sun:

Hey, at least you are staying with Nissan

I dunno if you like em, but you could get an older model Z (240,260,280) and throw a newer motor in it with the money you get for your G...

You might be able to pick up a rust free Z and swap a 280zxt motor or small block chevy with the cash you get for your G...

Just a thought...

Get the N/A Z32. My friend has one and I think its really fast. I never have driven a turbo but for performance the Z32 is excellent

I guess it depends on your style, racing or luxury. I like both, the G has fast looks even though it lacks the performance i still love the car.

Good move there CosmicG20T and congrats. Good looking front skirt. Maybe I'll spot your wheels around T.O.

Agreed....

I DO notice that my Prelude definitely had better UMPH!!! especially in 1st and 2nd gear, the torque and pickup was much more....after all I did trade in 40 horses and .3 litres for the slick looks and lux of the Infiniti G!!!!

When driving in TO today, I felt my G was a little 'sluggish' in 1st and 2nd, but that's maybe cos I am still used 2 the torque of my Lude.....time will tell!!! The Infiniti does feel like a heavier car though 4 sure, and the interior chasis is much higher, so I am not glued 2 the road like b4!!!!!

I LOVE MY COSMICG THOUGH, HE IS A REAL BEAUTY!!!!

Um, yeah.... of course your lude had more oomph!!! It was a coupe meant to perform. The G20 is technically a family sedan that happens to have enough hanging down there to get going. :flash: I'll be the first one to admit that my friend's VTEC lude had more "get-go" than my G. It is smaller, lighter, newer, and performance-oriented straight off the assembly line.

Give it some time. You'll be beating ricer-boy Civs in no time once you really start to feel what you can do.
