Saw the vid over on tech. Nice run and two very fast cars!!! Now, let the modding begin on that Z06. That CL is a beast no doubt.

Re: Mercedes > C6 Z06

You failed to mention that that's also a Renntech-tuned CLS65, making about 670bhp, and 900btq, according to Renntech's specs for that car's tune.

Impressive for a 4500lb boat though...

Doesn't the video say that? Anyway, I didn't expect it to stay ahead of a new Z06.

Now take it into a turn and see what happens....

Re: Mercedes > C6 Z06

That was good shit right there...it looked like the Z06 was ahead the whole way until the very end...kind of hard to tell with those wide-angle shots though...and the sound of that TT V-12 is PURE SEX.

Nah, it doesn't. Just says it's a V12TT with a "flash" (ECU, ofcourse).

I saw this before on 6speedonline.com, and there are people there that knows both "contestants". They stayed even from the 50mph start till 160. The AMG started pulling at 165+. I'd say that is due to the massive TQ the car has to push it through the air at those speeds (and weight becomes less of factor).

Re: Mercedes > C6 Z06

Lol, you say that like the Z06 DOESN'T have massive torque.

Well, it's the difference between 900+ BTQ, and 485 BTQ. It's all relative.

Indeed.

Cool cars, either way.

Re: Mercedes > C6 Z06

^Agreed...it's a lot more fun seeing two cars deep in the 11s go at it than seeing two cars in the 14s go at it...that's why I'd never post a video of me racing someone.

Thanks for the vid, very nice. Both are quite impressive. I'd "settle" for either one.
