one of the girls at our shop is going turbo. Check this out, get your hands on the April 02 issue of Import Tuner, there is a red Civic in there with a SOHC turbo, grab some info from there, if you really need some info, IM me or PM me man, peace.

P.S-The front cover is that Racing Hart CRX, with the gold paint, chrome motor, and NSX tails.

Greddy has had a Turbo kit for the SOHC's for a long long time. It was made for the 92-95 D16z6 but it will also fit the 96+ and also the ZC with some custom cutting on the pipes.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying!
Anyway, Greddy (TD05... I think) and Apexi [IHI ball bearing (I like this one...)] already are available for the 92-95 EX's. Applications for the 6G EX's will be available sometime soon.

Drop in the Forced Induction board for further details as well as Turbo D16.

for the money of a turbo or maybe just a little more u should just swap whether u want to or not. u just gotta be stupid to put a turbo on that with all those miles.i prefer a b18c series if u want a swap.

Im talking about the one and only Dj Sahdow www.djshadow.com

Ambient: maybe in a sence.

Experimental: you could call it that. I would just say to each his own. self expresion at its finest.

Abstract: not at all, this shit has a sack of soul that will knock the wind outa ya and leave you breathless.

Normally Im all for going with a turbo D16 setup, Id like to do that myself once I have the money saved. However, with so many miles on the engine, I would be a lot more hesitant to turbo it rather than swap for something better. If I were in your place, I would swap it, not because its a D16, just because it is an old engine already. :flash:

Hmm... I didn't see one person give the right answer. Anyway, yes, turbo your y8. Building up D series motors is like buying candy... its so damn cheap! If you need some parts, I can get you in contact with some serious D series builders. Anyway, you can build the whole turbo system for around $400 w/intercooler. IM me if you want to find out more. why dont you do the leak down test, so you know how the engine is holding up. Just because it has lots of miles doesnt mean its bad. And if it turns out to be OK, by all means out a turbo on that sucka.
