Great Job, patience plays a big part when applying a lot of/big decals.
Were there decals for every body panel, many small ones, or a few big ones?

They are mostly large one piece decals for each panel

First of all thank you for your comments.

They are about 23 D2 decals.
Seven of then are real large, for instance the roof is one huge decal.
The other 16 are smaller (the smallest is a half D2 decal) used to apply in between the large decals.
I used Micro Sol and Micro Set to help me getting better results with the decals.
Started using it with the Lancia and the results are real great.

Hi what is Micro Sol and Micro Set? It's some kind of glue to apply the decalc?
I'have made about 20 1/24 cars, and I never used nothing else, except water.

good job you've done with the C-Class.

it must be a patience work to put all those decals in the right place.

i've never made a car with decals, but i'm longing to start one

Cheers

Again thank you all for your comments.

nconceic, Micro Set and Micro Sol are two solutions used to help to fix the decal to the model (Micro Set) and to slightly solve the decal so it can adapt to the shape of the model giving it a more realistic look (Micro Sol).

However you have to be really careful especially with the Sol, because the decal becomes real fragile and easy to ruin.
I have also only use these products in two models, spent ten years just using tepid water
