Re: Bigger Injectors

It depends. Is that all you are going to do? It would be good to get a performance chip with it. If you aren't going to do too much with the engine you should'nt get that big of injectors too.

Adding more fuel without adding more air= rich condition and nothing else. Bigger injectors do not add HP!!!!!!

I know thats something you would want to do after adding a super charger. I have only added a cold air intake but there really isnt a significant increase in air from that to add bigger injectors. I was just curious with the idea.

The real performance is "fuel wash" nothing like dumping fuel behind your compression ring and then igniting it for 1/4 mile times!

You got a ways to go before needing bigger injectors you haven't even raised you duty cycle of em close to something to worry about.

Re: Bigger Injectors

Would I benefit from bigger injectors if I have p & p Cobra heads + p & p upper & lower GT-40 intake + Moroso cold air intake?

What injectors and cam do you have right now?

I really don't think you would need bigger injectors, porting the heads and intake are only going to be good for around 30-40hp

Re: Bigger Injectors

the only reason i got bigger injectors is because i had gotten a Kenne Bell supercharger, bored out, cams, pistons and entire fuel system. I dont see any reason why you cant. depending to what you have done and to what extent you should be looking at a mid 30'd improvement. + - a little.

Not to contradict anyone, but if you went from a stock motor to P&P'd GT-40 heads and a Cobra intake and you have a full exhaust then it wouldn't hurt to upgrade to 24 lb injectors. I've done it on every H/C/I swap I've done....

Re: Bigger Injectors

i understand that stock injectors are good for about 350hp before you should consider upgrading them.
