broke my thermo swicth thang pretty much it turns the fan on when the motor gets hot. got it wired now that the fan runs all the time ..... any downfall to that?really dont feel like getting behind there an fixing the swicth now. might wait a week

Damn, sounds like you having rather a bad time with the car lately.

wiring up the fan to run all the time is not actualy very good for it, and can infact impair your cooling at higher road speeds. (since the air flow from the road speed if easily higher than airflom from the fan. Yet the fan is running and so creating a block behind the radiator.

If your spend a lot of time in the car its also quite possible the fan could over heat.

Unless its really hot where you live, and you spend a lot of time sitting in traffic I actualy recomend you leave the fan disconected and simply keep and eye on the temp.
If it does start to get to hot then you can jump out and wire it back up again.
