Talking New tires.....Whoop, Whoop

When I bought my eagle alloy rims off a guy that drives a 92 hatch, i loved them but the tread on the tires weren't good. Now remember, these were 13 inch so they aren't big but better than stock rims. The rubber that was on them was GoodYear Concorde 175/70 13. Has anyone ever heard of the Concordes before cause I can't find them any where. I think they may have been performance tires. But yesterday I got some new GoodYear Viva 2's on there and man do they make a huge difference. Not only can I turn better and have better control, they look better.

hmmm 13 inch rims ARE the size of stock rims, so technically there not bigger! Yep i was amazed when i got rid of my top of the line Wal-Mart tires; that i got the car with; and replaced them with yokohama avid tourings----great tires, crappy tread life!

As I said, the eagle alloys were better than the stock meaning they looked better. They're both 13's. But I still like them.

Bigger isn't better, wider is better. I've had the concordes on my rig for about 2-2.5 years now for daily driving and I'd have to say they are complete pieces of shit for handling, braking, acceleration, just too skinny on the 13x5.5 inch rim I have. The tread life on them is excellent however. They are an all-season tire just fyi. I <3 my Kumhos.
