Question How do I save flash?

How do I save a flash movie or game? When I right click it, it only allows me to play, loop, rewind, etc. It gives no option to save it. How do I do it? I have a ton of websites with cool flashes on them, and I want to keep them because they keep going out of bussiness.

Dig it out of your cache folder. It should have an .swf extension.

That's pretty much how I do it. When you get to complex Flash files, however, you'll also have to find the auxillary files used for dynamic content.

alternatively.. you could create an html file with a direct link to the file in question and then use a "save target as" on the link you created

Just view the source code of the file that opens the flash, it will contain a link which u can save from either
a) your broswer OR
b) using a download manager
