Hi,can anyone tell me what the (!) symbal means? I have lost my owners manual and yesterday my Alternater went and today that light is on , on my dash and my engine light is on and is it normal for my abs light to stay on? If anyone can help I would appreciate it..Thanks

Re: warning symbals

(!) is brakes, I think. It should come on when your parking brake is on, and it'll come on if the brake fluid level is low.

If the ABS light is on, you do not have ABS working properly and so the entire ABS is offline. Get it scanned from a technician to determine what the code is and your course of action to remedy it.

autozone and some other places does it for free. Or else find a good mechanic.

Unfortunately I am in Canada where nothing is free..and a good mechanic is so hard to find....I have a guy but it takes forever to get into him then longer to get things done but he is honest and trustworthy...I went to the dealership to get an oil change they gave me a list of repairs i needed done was over 800 dollars took it to my guy he laughed and said none of this has to be done ...so now i go to jiffy lube..lol..
