Hello all,
This is the first time that I have tried this site out. I have a 2000 Grand Prix GT and just finished putting a front hub assembly on the drivers side. The installation was back breaking but everything went very smooth. When I took it for a test drive I now have a popping or cracking noice when I turn and accelerate. Can anyone help!!! Is this the half shaft or CV. Thank you, |

Re: Front Hub assembly and CV/Halfshaft

Re: Front Hub assembly and CV/Halfshaft
Sounds a little high to me, I think it's more like 180ft/lbs. In any case, make sure you tightened the spindle nut to spec.
