t top

how much work am I looking at to put t tops in my car? and what parts would I need?

What year is your car? If it's 82-92, sell it and buy one that already has them as its a MAJOR job to do them. You have to cut the roof off at the base of the pillars front and rear, and do the same with the donor car. When placing the new roof on the car, it has to be lined up perfectly otherwise everything will leak. If you have a 4th gen (93-02) its much easier as the cars were designed to have t-tops, pull the headliner down and you can see the cutouts in the roof. There is a post in the camaro forum a while back about converting a 4th gen and it was supposed to be pretty easy.

It really wouldn't be to any use to you though, because as skibum already said, it would just require alot of fabricating and IMO wouldn't be worth it. You would really be better off just trading your car in for one with t-tops. That is of course, i fyou want them that badly.
