which belts and hoses
Hi,
I need to change the drive belt(not the timing belt that is already changed) and hoses on 98 camry with 128k miles since they are never changed. I have a mechanic who do all the repairs on this car and i always buy parts from dealer or online. Now i see lot of different types of belts and hoses on the website. Normally which belt is referred as drive belt and which hoses need to be changed? Thanks --rubs |

Re: which belts and hoses
Change the radiator hoses and the heater hoses.
Change both accessory belts. Alternator/air conditioner and power steering.

Re: which belts and hoses
Maybe.
I check the hoses for swelling, softness, any signs of damage or leakage. At 136,000 miles they still look perfectly fine. I do change the drive belts though. |
