2.2 Si Non Vtec Help
Si 2156cc Non-Vtec
I was reading a message from veetec posted about the Si Non-Vtec prelude engine. I have been looking at a 2.2 (2156cc so im told) Non-Vtec Si engine. They can tell me no more about this engine then i have told you. I love the car but no one seems to know about this engine when it comes to BHP. can anyone help in this as i have searched the web and can find old Si models but no 1997 Prelude details on the Si Non-Vtec model. Any help will make my decision much easier to live with. is there a site where engine numbers can be checked for jap imports. regards [email protected] |

There are different types of engines for the prelude... a 2.2 and 2.3 liter ... in honda brochures it's a 2.2 and in some car books it's a 2.3 with different gear ratios and so on... it's hard to get good info. I know the 2.2 is about 150-154 bhp and the 2.3 is about 180-185 bhp
