WIP: 2001 Subaru Impreza - Tarmac Tuner Conv.

I've been working on this for a while. The kit is the Tamiya Subaru Impreza WRC 2001, and fit has been extremely good so far.

I shaved the spoiler and most everything else within reason. Paint is Tamiya Metallic Red TS-18. I had some pitting issues with the clearcoat and there are a few small imperfections in the paint, but I don't want to strip it and start over. This is just a rebound model, so I'm going to allow myself a few small mishaps. Interior will be all black with the exception of the body color roll cage and red seats. Most of the Rally Equipment has been removed from the inside.

And I'm building this as a modified street car, so I placed it here rather than under motorsports.

Glad to be back, everyone. Let me know what you think.

I really like Impreza! I like the style of yours!! And the blacks rims fits perfectly!

One day, I should do a red Impreza too!

I love imprezas, but you should atleast sand down the clear and try to get some of those fisheyes out, they look like my car when I left it out in a hail storm.

The car's already been polished and waxed, but I'll most likely try taking some 1500 and 2000 grit to it, then going back over it with some polish and wax before I consider it finished. I need to find out where my 2000grit went to...sucks to come back after 6 months and not be able to find half of my tools

Anyways, I think I'm going to concentrate more on the interior before I mess with the body anymore. Thanks for the comments guys.
