3.3l engine bogs down when it is put in drive
It is a 1992 Buick century with a 3.3L V-6. When the car idles it has a small miss in it. When you put it in drive the engine bogs down and starts to putter untill you give it gas. Does anyone know what the problem could be. Let me know. Thanx Aaron

Re: 3.3l engine bogs down when it is put in drive
Have you checked your spark plugs, plug wires, etc.. recently? Also it could be an injector going bad, do you have anything to test injectors?

Hi Josh. The plugs and wires are new. I double checked the spark plug gap its ok. I have a code 42 from the check engine light. That is the eletronic spark timeing circuit. It consists of ecm, crank and cam sensor, coil pack, mass air sensor. I am going to have another look at it this saturday. Thanx for the help. If you have any more ideas please let me know Thanx Aaron |

Nothing much i can really add, just be sure to post exactly what was wrong with it when you get back in case future members have the same problem.
