496 was a production engine

To who ever said that gm didn't make a 496 is wrong because it is a gm production engine it's a 8.1 litre and they put it in the 1 ton trucks so do the math and you will get 496 ..So learn up on the chevy .. and get better cars don't don't have fart cans on them I'm sure my grandmas corrola would sound just like your guy's if she put shit on it...

Yes, the 8.1L Vortec motor is 496ci. Yay for you knowing the Heavy duty motors GM uses.

But, shame on you for thinking everybody here has a Foldgers can on the back of their car. An attitude like yours won't last very long in these forums.

I suggest you learn to accept everybody's vehicular preferances, didn't say you have to like them... just respect their choices. And you'll get along fine around here.
