Traction Control: Brake Assisted vs. Power

I need some help on this, I'm not looking for a technical difference I'm more concerned with the actual performace. any suggestions on where to look for comparisons?

Consumer Reports? I'll bet Car and Driver and Motor Trend both list both subjective and quantitative test results on their website.
