So who has the Initial D movie?
I do... I thought it was cool.
The story was odd, if you look at it from somebody who's never watched the anime or read the manga... the story plays out fine. But from a fan perspective it was odd, many missing characters. The action sequences were nice, very little CG was used as far as I can tell. The production value for the racing was very well done. It's a fun movie over all, highly recommend it even if it doesn't follow the story fully.

i just ordered the 4th stage actually, the live action movie i got by torrent...im not goin to post the torrent, its against rules i think. the live action movie doesn't go with the story for most part, but its interesting to watch.

I liked it but yea it was a little odd. The guy they had playing cole seemed more like an iggy. (sorry I dont know there real names I dont feel like looking)

it was meant as a reinterpretation of the initial d story
redneck, why are you watching it so late? most people i know saw it more than a month ago. or did you need to wait for the dvd release

I waited for the DVD release, once I knew it wasn't going to be exact... I didn't see the point in Downloading it as soon as it came available.
Plus, I got it for cost too... A friend works for that website. Interpertation of the story, I guess that's what you could call it. I did like it, but knowing all the things that were wrong or missing kind of ehh I don't want to say Ruined it for me.. but it sorta did. Still some sweet action in it though!

Anyone know if they will make a 2nd? They kind of leave you hanging? I mean I already know what happens but if you havent seen the anime then it does.

I saw it, and thought that they over did that movie. Racing was cool, but did you see what that Evo3 was being hauled in? looked like a freaking circus!

I've got the live action movie by torrent.
watched only the first 5 min, and then I pressed the delete key on my keyboard cuz it was making me sick. the anime/manga was much much better
