Resin kit ?
What is the purpose of resin kits? Are they just kits that are made to replace out of production models? Are they harder or easier to work with than your plastic kits? Please help. Thanks

Re: Resin kit ?
Resin kits are most often cars which the mainstream manufacturers have never bothered with, but us modelers still want to build.
They require a little more experience to work with.

Re: Resin kit ?
Resin kits are four or five times more expensive than your average plastic kit, are harder to work with and have less detail than the majoirty of plastic kits. The reason these kits are produced and the reason people buy them is that the subjects are often those overlooked by plastic model comapanies. Put simply, Resin kits give modellers the oportunity to build certain cars that are not available in plastic.

Resin kit are made in low quantity and by small company or even people. You definitely need good modeling skill to work with them.

Re: Resin kit ?
If you have patience and with a little aftermarket help even the crapiest resin kit can look fantastic.
