Swooshing on turn-off
One thing to watch for (not like *I* did this, ummmm*cough*) is that the K&N filter that comes with the CAI sometimes still has some loose rubber moulding from the manufacture process. If you don't remove it before installing it, this junk will get sucked up into your intake manifold and possibly caught on the throttle body. This will cause your car to idle very high (mine idled at 5000rpm when i did this), and make a VERY noticeable swooshing sound when shutting off.
It's worth the 15 minutes to unbolt your coolant reservoir and CAI to make sure you don't have some black rubber stuck in your throttle body! |
