Old VS New

After some weeks without any worth race to post this is it.

A very exciting race indeed.
Went to the sea with four friends in the car. On the way back i was driving 125 km/h On a 120 km/h two lane each road. Familiar headlights gain up on me while i was passing some others on the left lane. Went back right to see if it was indeed the new one as i hoped.
And yes, when he passed i saw the badge reading 320d. Freshly out of Germany, i thought.

Hmm around 10 more hp then me. Driver looked like mid 30s, stepping quiet a bit on it... This could be major fun...

I stayed with him driving pretty fast constantly, around 170. Like we were cruising together fast. Not actually racing against eachother, we were more waiting for a red light.

And we got one, him right and i left. He looked over and saw us sitting there with five pretty big guys pressed together (backseats are pretty narrow in 3 series ) and smiled. Hehe. Smiled back with a rev.
Just when i look back at the road it went green. Had a very nice take off with no traction problems at all, due to the extra weight.
I was actually half a car ahead in first and kept that in the first seconds of second. Then he got near me and overtook, third and he had a car...
End of third around 125 he had around three cars or something. But in fourth around 140 i stopped his pulling and stayed even until 180. We then both started braking at the same moment. I run along next to him as we were slowing down to 160.

He suddenly decides to punch it but i was prepared. I was right there in fourth at my sweetspot and he was merely creeping away from me. We took it to 195 this time with him only half a car by then, i then stopped gassing it for a second to give him some lead as he was still punching it. At this speed i rather want some room to breath if you know what i mean. We ran around 200 for about 5 mins, no joking. Only slowed down once for green lights to about 150 for safety. Then he took an exit, hitting the blinkers and putting his thumb up out of the window to say goodbye. Great car, cool driver just fun.

By the way, al this time i played with the 2005 BMW 320d my friends were just sitting back and enjoying it with a smile.
Damn i love this car to bad diesel starts to cost alot, and i mean alot.

btw, at the coast i came across this beautifull car, a Maserati.
It looked like this: http://afbeeldingen.apriana.nl/Autos/0043b.JPG
I like those boxy lines yet it's pretty agressive.

Shame i couldn't spot the owner. It looks like a joy to drive.

Re: Old VS New

Nice race. Diesel BMWs are great. Too bad we don't have them here...
