Call Me Call Me Call Me!!!
Hey All-
Some of you might know that I ordered a custom-made exhaust header a while back. When I ordered it, neither a due date, nor even a time frame establishing as to when the piece should be completed, were discussed. I just told the guy I ordered it through that "I understand that quality work takes time." That was almost 10˝ months ago. For a while, I would call to check in, and I would hear "I have no idea when it will be done." Eventually, I started hearing "maybe by the end of this month." Well, April of 2002 marked the third month that was addressed as a "maybe by the end of this month." On April 30th, I called, and was told that the end of the month deadline would not be made, but that May 10th I should expect to have the piece ready to be shipped! Needless to say, with my car being a stalled project for quite some time now waiting on this crucial exhaust header (the new engine was finished and installed way back on October 20th, 2001), and today being the final due date that the unit is supposed to be done, I am very antsy, waiting by my cell phone, praying for it to ring. There is a three-hour time difference between where I am situated and where the manufacturer is located, so I have to remind myself that 1:30 p.m. here is only 10:30 a.m. there. However, nonetheless, I sit, the phone at the ready today. Suspense kills!!! :sun:

Hey it takes a while to bend that plastic pipe & stick it togeather with bubble gum.
Then there's the painting it silver. Quality take's time yah know. The Panda made me do it!!!!

Apparently, items of bad news like to come in twos:
1) I was “bumped” back another week, so now I am to expect the finished product to be ready to ship on May 17th. 2) I actually CHOOSE to associate with you insufferable people …  :finger: :finger: JERKS!!
