Front clip finds

I work in a import shop for japanese engines. I have found alot of stuff in the front clips in the shop. My finds were 51 yen, a passengers side floor mat for a fairlady Z (wish i had the driver side also), a shift nob, japanese road flare, a buch of trash that has japanese writing on it, and a Veilside metal decal. I would like to know what other people have found in front clips.

Ehh....

We once found a used syringe in a car that was traded into work. Have found countless C.Ds left in C.D players, even found a used condom in one. We left that one for the detailers to take care of.

We normally take the back seats out of trade ins and collect the money. My mate steve kept a tally, he has found over $500 in coins over the last few years.

Re: Front clip finds

Found a load of bugs in the front clip of my truck, they were all dead though...

Is it me is this ranking pretty high in the weird and pointless thread rating right now?

Re: Front clip finds

When I used to work at a garage I was detailing the interior of some girls Nissan and found 3 thongs, a dildo and a bottle of KY under the passenger seat. That was fun to show my boss.

Re: Front clip finds

Yeah a friend of mine bought a front clip for a Japanese Celica GT-Four (to put the turbo engine in his NA car, which had blown the engine). There was a bunch of wierd things here and there, but what was the coolest was the ignition key. It was extremely heavy (for a key), had a mother of pearl inset with a gold crown, and had a back similar to what you see on a watch (with the grooves along the edge for removal). My friend kept it, but I would LOVE to find a blank one of those for my car...

Re: Front clip finds

Iv found a few things of interest:

A PCI Compact Flash Card reader under the seat of an imported 928 from Japan, along with a few Yen.

A 3/4 inch ratchet in the engine bay of a car that came in for a service, it had been left there 10,000kms ago by the guy I was working for.
