Please man, turn the damn caps lock off :finger4:
Second of all, you can "ghetto" rig your box with JUST a top plate, but you have to make sure the entire thing is sealed (lots of silicone -- hence the ghetto part, cause its gonna look like qraps!) Well you still need a "box" for the woofer 3/4" MDF wood And there you go, enjoy!

2)you can't use the spare tire well as part of the box, you need it to be either wood or fiberglass. Do NOT use the metal from the car. 3)You can bolt the wood to the car by using brackets that look like this "L" and screw it into the box and then into the car.

I made mine out of fiberglass and then screwed a wood baffle to it. To secure it to the car, I drilled a hole in the bottom of the fiberglass box and used an 8mm bolt that went into where the spare tire rod usually goes.

i know it's kind of going to be dependent on the quality of sound eqipment you have, but what is the sound like coming out of that small of a box? I have two 10" MTX blue thunders, and i was thinking about making a box in my spare tire location and using one 10" not both. Let me know what you think the sound is like.

Here do it right. Do it with fiberglass, its not that hard.

You'd definitely have room for them. I had 2 10s in my hatch spare tire well and it was perfect. My friend has a 93ex and he put 2 12s in a box that fit into the spare tire well. I was very suprised to hear it, sounds great, and hits probably harder than mine. He's pushing 2 12W0s with a JL 300/4.
