Fuel Filter

I got a replacement fuel filter the other day, but I still dont have a Hayne's Manual for the Hatch, how do I relieve the fuel pressure, and is that all I need to do to disconnect the old filter? Thanks Guys and Girls.

...if you look at the bolts on hoses going into the filter, one of em's got a smaller bolt ontop of a larger bolt....put a rag around the connection and loosen the smaller bolt...that's all you need to do to relieve pressure...simple

Theres no fuse to pull? On most cars you need to pull a fuse then crank the car to get some of the pressure out of the system.

Don't forget to open your gas tank. But do remember to put it back on.

There are two obvious screws showing when you open your fuel door, I believe you unscrew those part way to relieve pressure.

Well guys I already did it, Opened the fuel filler cap and then went to unscrewing. There was very little fuel that came out and the process was totally painless.
