What about NOS in a D15B7??

I am planning to go for a engine swap in the future, but I was thinking in trying NOS in the stck engine of my Civic DX first.
Does anyone know if this engine will support the NOS? I don't care too much about blowing after some time (I will swap it anyway), but at least I want to enjoy the NOS for a while.

Does this make sense?

Thanks

Re: What about NOS in a D15B7??

I'd do a compression test to see if it's good shape. If it is, strap a 50 shot to it. And RIGHT before you swap it out, change the pill out for a 75 shot and run it down the 1320 and see what you get, or if you make it

What's the "wealthy" compression range that I should get for the D15B7?

I persoanlly find NITROUS a helpful tool. NITROUS is a cheap efficent, economical way of making power, it is well worth your money. I recommend the NITROUS Express kits.

OK, I made the compression test and all cylinder where in the range 175-180. Is this good enough for NOS?

I mean, I don't want to shot twice and blow the engine?

180 is good. The only thing you might have problems w/ is the stock clutch, it might not hold up too good w/ NOS.
I have trouble driving JRSC civic w/ Stage 2 clutch. I guess i need Stage 3, oh well

I was looking for NOS Systems but it seems to be availabe only for the B-Series engines.

Does anyone knows about NOS systems for the D15B7? Or can I use the one for the VTEC engine?

Thanks

B series is the same thing, unless it has a plate. If its got a nozzle it will fit D series. Nex one is universal. The choice is wet or dry shot. its up 2 you. I personally like wet. That sounds bad.
