It work well before I had the garage worked on it(air filter, air...). But I am not sure whose fault.
Now the temperature showed on the instrument panel is about 10F below the exact value. Any ideas? it is 99 buick regal LSE. Thanks. Last edited by zlion; 09-05-2005 at 11:24 AM. |

Sorry to bring up such an old thread, but this is totally related.
I'm replacing this temperature sensor in my '99 Regal, as it's driving me bonkers to see how wildly different the external temperature is from the heat outside. I'm not sure what part to replace this with, and searching the service manual for "temperature" didn't help indicate any parts. Would this be considered an "ambient temperature sensor" (such as Part # AX67 from Standard Motor Products)? My local parts store employees think the above part is for controlling internal cabin heating/cooling... Thanks! |
