Power Window Role Up Module Help.
Hey all, i just bought a car alram with a built in WIndow roll up module to close the windows remotely when you leave the vehicle. My current power windows setup does not have a switch that controls each window, each window is controlled by a seperate switch. I was wondering if anyone knew how to setup the module. And if its any help, the diagram shows the wire comming from the brain as window roll up negative output. Thnx

Re: Power Window Role Up Module Help.
You may have to run an indiviual wire from each door to one location. Some provide hot power to the door and the switch just grounds each motor, while some provide hot power to the switch. A wiring diagram for your car will work wonders.
I'm also going to copy this thread over to the interior forum. You might get some hits over there, too.

Re: Power Window Role Up Module Help.
I do have a wiring diagram and heres the setup, each switch (four switches for the driver) has three wires going into it, one form the lockout switch witch give the passengers the ability to use their switches, another going from each switch to the up functions of the motors, and the final one going from each swtich to thie motor witch controls the downward function. The last time i used the module on the alarm, i think it possibly fried my alarm, i had connected each up wire from each motor, to a seperate line going to the window module. I dont noe if this is wut neccessarily fried the alarm, but i didnt want to take the chance of tryin it again, so are there any ideas?
