Question Help quick please!

Am new to this board but hoping someone can help me. I have a 95 integra gsr. Just ordered new main and rod bearing for it and they are wrong. I went to 2 different parts store and got the same part #. Look at the engine code b18c1 and the part numbers match "if the shaft is between a certain size". Are there 2 different b18c1's in 95? Why would there be that little exception in the parts book?. This is very important if anyone knows. I need to get my car back on the road.

Thank you in advance!

the problem is probably not that there was more than one kind of engine, but that engines that are the "same" are not identical. It's not uncommon for there to be three or more possible bearing sizes for a given crankshaft, to accomodate manufacturing variations. Often the bearing sizes are indicated with a letter, color, or number code on the block and crank to show which should be used.

Example for D16 engine:

Bore codes are on flywheel eng of block, away from sump, pulley-end code is farthest in, flywheel-end code is farthest out.

Crank codes are near bearings on crank

Crank main journal markings (#s - down)
Crank bore markings (letters - right)
A B C D
1 red pink yellow green
2 pink yellow green brown
3 yellow green brown black
4 green brown black blue

So if you have a bore labeled "B" and a journal labeled "3" you should select the bearing color-coded "green."

(B16A2 has block codes on the lower surface of the block, if I'm not mistaken)

there are two sizes because one is factory spec and one is factory serviced spec. factory serviced spec meaning having the crank turned if it was scorn. just like honda has stock pistons and factory service pistons that are oversized in case the cylinder's have to be honed out.
