injectors from other cars

ok, for those of you that dont know there are a few injectors that fit out cars from non-honda sources. 1st gen eclipse/talon/laser injectors fit but the fuel rail needs to be bored out a little bit to squeeze them in there. not sure on flow rates, i think the turbo's are 310cc or 450cc? also i just read in HIC magizine that injectors from ford racing for mustangs will fit too with the same modification. they have a lot more to choose from in flow rates. from 255cc-315cc-whatever will let you run 1000+hp. the rates are wierd caus they are in lbs per hour not cc. i think you multiply lbs/hour rates by 10.5 to get cc. anyway make sure they are high resistance, saturated, pintle injectors. you can get a set from an eclipse for $50 on ebay or thepartstrader. the ford injectors can be had new from the ford dealership and cost $250-300 for a set of 8 injectors.

dsm injectors for thier turbo motors in eclipses/talons/laser's are 440cc's and they are peak and hold so if your planning on running them in your saturated system you will need a resistor box from a crx to do so. same goes with any peak and hold's in a saturated system. im almost certain the clips will also be different so you'll need the dsm ones and have to splice them into your harness.

if you need any injector calculation go to rc engineerings site at www.rceng.com

thanks man, the show was a blast you would have had so much fun!!

as for the accord and lude injectors yeah they work too. the 4th gen ludes i know for sure are peak and hold 290cc and the 5th gen ludes are saturated 310cc. the accords i dont know off hand but could find out if someone really needed to know although the dsm's are about the best bet all around.
