Springs from other car interchangable on fiero?

I have a 87 Fiero 2m4, it has some type of lowering springs on it that the previous owner put on, they are smaller, but fatter and blue. i would like to take them off and keep them for my next fiero, but i need to put stock ones on now and im having trouble finding fiero parts cars, my question is, can i take the springs from another simialr car? or do they have to be from a fiero

Fieros are pretty unique.... Chevette springs may fit, but that's about the only thing even close.

74-79 Ramcharger or 100, slant or no motor - not interested in v8 - Overdrive 4 is a big plus, NO hopeless rust buckets!!!
3Rd gen F body floor pans/camaro door skin (L)

Why is it I see so many "Proud to be an American" bumper stickers on the backs of cars made in Japan or Korea??????
