94 taurus cranks strong, starts and runs fine,then will die and not start sometimes you can drive 5 miles shut it off and it will crank but not start fuel press. is ok. coil and ign. mod are new any ideas? thanks in advance

If there is no spark, check the CCRM located under the plastic cover on top of the radiator. This houses all the relays for the fuel and ignition system.

Just as clarification, the CCRM controls the power to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM -- commonly referred to as the computer) and the fuel pump. By "ignition system" I believe way2old meant the PCM. There is an ignition module which is separate from the CCRM that controls the spark, along with the crankshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor. These are hall effect switches that give a signal to the computer and ignition module as the shafts rotate, telling the coils when to fire.
