Aftermarket Stereo

Well if you have suggestions by all means, GIVE THEM TO ME! But, I love that my cars interior illumination is all orange and I would really like to keep it that way. So my question is, I want to put in an aftermarket cd player, as we know, Tiburons have large Cd/Cassette players stock, I am thinking about replacing it, with an aftermarket Cd player with an equalizer beneath it to fill that gap. Of course the Cd player would have an orange or red illumination. What do you think? Good? Bad? Suggestions?
And yes, I do believe that the equalizer may be completely unneeded.

Re: Aftermarket Stereo

i Like the illumination theme, it adds uniqueness(yea i know i cant spell) to your car.....get an alpine in dash monitor, that will go good with your theme because most of them let you choose a backround color like orange , red ETC.....

I agree, I don't see anything wrong with that. Shoot its your car anyway, you make it your own.

Re: Aftermarket Stereo

agreed, i have a 97, with the boring green, but i added a 9813 unit, an equalizer inside the normal space for the oem.... and the sound is amazing, i spent a long time going between them, blaupunkt, and clarion. most of the newer alpines feature adjustable hues, and the blaupunkt seattle features an orange option as well. the only main concern from punkt is that a lot of their units from my experience damage easily in removal and even sometimes installation.

again alpine also features a rather slim eq you can put in there, maybe even cram their slim center channel in there as well, not sure about fitment, mine doesnt support 5.1 sound. and again, i was moreso impressed by the soundstage i got from alpine than with the punkt.

pioneer's one swingface player also offers orange illum, but i hate the quality from pioneer rigs, they're just a heck of a lot easier to find.
