Hey Tim,
Try getting some window tint offcuts from your local auto window tinting shop, they'll usually part with offcuts for free and you can use them on model cars easily.

That's totally dependant on how dark you want the tint to look.

That'll be $5.

And with practice, you can get that fly, bubbled look that seems to be so popular with kids around here....

Welcome to AF!

Get some Future and put Smoke or Black in it and dip the piece.

Re: Subaru Impreza (2003) WRX

you can use the PE stuff or try to scratchbuild some stuff. i guess you can use ribbon for the belt, but then you will either need to scratchbuild some buckles or buy the PE stuff.

I use 1/16 " satin ribbon. One spool is about 100 yards...last you forever. The tricky part is finding it, I serched through quite a few online stores for it as most craft stores (around here anyway) don't go smaller than 1/8" . Though you might want to get the slightly bigger stuff as well to make the pads for the racing belts.

Oh, and PE is photo etch. Aftermarket companies make seat belt kits with photo etch belt buckles that you have to thread the ribbon through. Since they are metal, you don't have to paint them after threading them.
