Alright, got a few question...
Best ECU to use with a stock CRV swap? What about with a B16 VTEC head swap (how would the OBD work -- if its an OBD2 CRV block and OBD1 head -- just checking, is it easy?) The Hondata system would be nice... but I dont want to spend $900 for a damn system, less of course theres money to be made by people telling you to reprogram their ECU

Most stand alones ive seen are pretty pricey...
So if you went with say an OBD1 B16 head -- go with an OBD1 B16 ECU? What about the wiring of the OBD2 block... or is there nothing on the block that needs to be changed? Just curious

Alright maybe I should clarify...
If you have an OBD2 block... do you need OBD2 head and OBD2 ECU? Or... ?

Im assuming its going into your civic which is OBD1 OBD1 would require OBD1 ECU, wiring would be really easy, and OBD1 Distributor (not 100% sure on the dist. ) OBD2 on the onther hand would require you to run some wires to the second O2 sensor and OBD2 ECU and OBD1-2 wiring plug. Its up 2 u which way to go. Both will need the Vtec wiring. Hope I helped |

Why spend $845 for a reprogramable sysetm and then $270 on a writer for the EPROMS when the damn writer only costs $140? They must think people are stupid...
