is there any difference between a 1997 and a 1998?
Hey, i am lookin at two 4runners atm, one is a 1997 with 100k miles on it and the other is a 1998 with 130k miles on it, id much rather have the less miles, but i believe that ive heard somewhere that 1997s might have had a recall on them? or at high mileage they usually have some problems (head gasket or something)
So im wondering if the 1998s and 1997s are virtually the exact same, or if i might be having problems with the 1997 later on? Any input/suggestions/advice would be much appreciated thanks, Chuck |

Find a list of TSBs for both vehicles here:
Fill out the search form. http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/pr.../tsbsearch.cfm
