Question couple ?'s on greddy turbo for 00 civic ex.

i got a couple questions that hopefully somebody can help me out with. first i amlooking into the greddy turbo kit for a 2000 civic ex auto. with the intercooler kit. i read in an earlier post that i would have to do something my transmission cuz its an auto. true? i picked a greddy cuz i read it is the only legal turbo for cali. do i NEED a wastegate for the turbo? i am just planning on keeping it at around 6-8 or 9 pounds so would i need to do any major adjustments to my engine besides a fuel rail or anything like that? will the 92-95 civic sohc greddy turbo kits work on my 00 civic cuz i am having a hard time finding them for my 00 sohc. and if there is anything else that can get me started on a turbo kit then any help is greatly welcome and appreciated. thanks.

GReddy kit will work with your 00 just fine, if you use the blue/black box, some wiring is different.

A new wastegate is not necessary.
Upping the boost beyond the stock setting will require at least fuel system upgrades (in tank pump, etc.)

Fuel rail not really necessary until more drastic boost is being run.

Auto trannies suck, they are weaker, and I hate mine. A transmission fluid cooler would help keep it cool, and a new torque converter will help transfer power better. Check out level10 for some ideas.

Finally, do a search or just scroll down or to the next page, you should find more details on the GReddy turbo.

Oh, and as of now, there still is no kit specifically for the 96+ SOHC Civics.
