anyone know about the greddy turbo for the integra ls?

has anyone installed the new greddy turbo for the ls?... how come the kit only goes for the 96-99 ls... why doesnt it include the 94, 95, and 00 models?... and is the kit CA smog legal?... if u look at the hp gained from the turbo, it's pretty weak if u ask me... they only got 164 to the wheels... so what's the deal w/ this new turbo?... tons of questions.... thanks in advance

for one thing, the reason why it makes such little whp is due to the fact that it's Street Legal/Smog Legal. you can't make a ton of whp and expect to be smog legal. another thing, the kit will work on all 94 and up models non-vtec tegs. i know because i installed one on my buddy's 95 teg. Greddy's Blue Box is just a MAP bypass and Fuel Control unit. nothing more.

thanks for the reply... will the kit still be legal on a 94 ls?... greddy has the model listed for 96 and higher... if its legal for 94 i'll probably go w/ that instead of swapping for gsr motor, so any imput u can give me would go a long way... thanks

to tell you the truth, i'm not sure whether it will be legal or not. i'm assuming that it will be. reason why i'm not sure is because in minnesota we dont' have emission tests anymore. but i don't see why it wouldn't be legal, because both the motors are basically the same except for the fact that the 96+ B18B1's have more emission control equipment on them. so i think that i'm at least 85% sure that it will be as long as you keep the boost stock and don't raise it up anymore.:smoker2:
