Work on your engine.

Oh yeah....dont do it. If you have to ask how to make your car faster, you shouldnt be driving. At least go to a track.

Re: Tips on street racing for a Integra driver

do constant burnouts, drop the clutch, don't slip it out like panzies do, and most importantly you need a wing, at least 3 feet higher than the roof of ur car so that everyone knows ur fast...

or just practice slipping the clutch out and watch out for wheel hop

Always finish ahead of the other guy.

If you can do that every time, you just might win.

And remember, 2nd place is only the first loser.

This has helped me in my quest to be the fastest street racer ever:

Also, don't forget, euro taillights add 30hp and you get mad respect:

Then the MOST important thing of all is NOS!!! But remember, you need to buy a nice aftermarket intake manifold to support your floor from falling out:

OK, really though, just go for a CAI, exhaust, and look into seeing how much it would cost to turbo your car. In reality, most imports will just suck ass if it is naturally aspirated. Unless you can come up with the money for that, then strive to become one of the finest 17-second racers EVER!!

yeah i feel kinda bad now.... but what he said. the best way to make real power is turbo. and guess what? thats not easy. it takes alot of planning, and alot of money. if you want something cheap and fast, buy a domestic, but dont be mad if it starts breaking on you.

LOL take it easy, my car has 193,000 miles and still runs strong enough to whoop a BMW Z4 and countless ricers

But be prepared to fork over gas money LOL.

Re: Tips on street racing for a Integra driver

Or you can buy a turbo kit. That will have everything in there that you need. Maybe it would be helpful to know what you already have, and what kind of budget your working with. Also, we have a non-specific section for stuff like this, but welcome to the board.

Re: Tips on street racing for a Integra driver

Convert to rwd...drop in a chevy 350 (after massive welds..lol)...then you should be set.

BTW, the best way to WIN races is to not let the other person KNOW you're racing them...lol..

omg i've pwned so many n00bs like that, they were pwned so hard they didn't even know there were pwned!!!11

funny story leading up to this: a couple days ago i'm at a red light in the left turn lane (so i can't race) but i saw who was lining up. it was a nice red integra with a young driver. the car to his right was an 2001+ impala. the impala lined up to the integra. the integra did nothing. the light changed and the impala floored it. the acura normally accelerated.

what a pussy. although he would have gotten his stock 130hp ass handed to him by a nice piece of america, he should have atleased tried... or maybe he recognized saw the SS badge and knew he was 110hp under powered

1337 pwned by north america.

if only it was a 3 lane road. i woulda taken the impala and woulda bragged about my integra kill too
