Help!! 95 GSR ECU question..

well my 95 GSR is not redlining..it seem like the gas cut off is at 7200rpm instead of 8200rpm..i took it back to the place i bought,,he said there is nuthin he can do about...i m guess its a LS ecu cuz it wont redline not the vtec senor...will a 97 GSR ecu work on mine? i just want to test it out to see if it is my ECU b4 i go buy a 95ECU...any suggestion?thnx

test it with a 94 gsr or 95 gsr chip.. since those years are the same chip.. 96 and up they change.. so check it with one of those.. then get what you need
