Mitsubishi Lancer Evo V WRC

It's finaly finished!
I made outside photos, and even is still visible part of rag on front fast clip after polishing.
I only added belts, fast clips and anntenas.
Complate belts are from SRC (I just repainted them) and fast clips too.

Very nice EVO V. I must admit to being confused by the 'Carisma' marking worn by the Burns cars of this era. I always thought that it was because the Lancers were badged as Carisma in the UK. But having now lived in the UK, the Carismas I have seen on the road are different to the Lancers. Does anyone know the story behind this?

BTW, is it true that by combining this kit and the New Zealand EVO VI it is possible to build a tarmac EVO VI, or indeed a gravel EVO V? I think I read somewhere that it is possible to mix and match the chassis/suspension/wheels and body/bumpers/wing.

Anyway, great looking model.

Grant.

Nice! Any chance of a close-up shot of your hood clip (the one without the fluff ). I'm gonna be applying mine soon to my Focus & want to see how they're assembled!

"Carisma" name was used for aeketing purposes and that time, because was car was selling under that name in some countries.

Evo 6 kit have suspension for both version, gravel and tarmac but wheels only for gravel version. For tarmac than you just need tarmac wheels and tires.

The Evo VI kit does have the wheels as well as everything else, just not the tires.

They just chopped the front and rear clips off the Evo V body and added the new body and suspension parts to the package. Since the chassis is the same, just swap the gravel suspension in from the Evo VI kit and you have a gravel Evo V.

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer Evo V WRC

Steve is right, I checked my Evo 6 at home. I wasn't sure the first time about wheels, but I was sure for tires.
