78-88 vs 89-93 Mustangs

Im sure this has been answered before but i did a few searches and couldnt find anything. I was hopeing to find out the difference between the 87-88 & 89-93 mustangs because i am looking at buying a blown 87 GT (paxton novi 1000) and since ive always heard the 89-93 were better i thought i would ask the pros.
Thanks

Pretty much I think the only reason you see a split of the years you mentioned 87-88, 89-93 is the latter is MAF equipped cars. Many people automatically want to jump on the MAF superior band wagon but wether it is better or not is a personal choice. There is pro and con's to each system of fuel management and each has a niche it fills better than the other.
