CLK-GTR: BBR Or Tamiya

It's been a few years since both the BBR and Tamiya 1/24 CLK-GTRs have been released.

How do they compare? Is the BBR release worth the extra price? The body is 1 piece and can't display
the engine bay.

In my opinion, there is no doubt = TAMIYA.

There way I see it, you get a whole engine bay detail, the kit practically builds itself, as it is so well engineered. Plastic is a lot easier and safer to work with than resin. To top it off, Tamiya's offering is a fraction of the price of BBR's.

Tamiya all the way. The BBR goes together alot quicker, but there is less parts by far.

I am not familiar with either of the p/e set for this particular kit, but from experience, I have found that BBR p/e is quite hard, often made from brass. The SMS p/e is normally thinner, which makes it more workable and more scale accurate.
