CSC mistake

hi guys
just thought i would tell everyone not to use castrol super clean to clean your brushes, i did this and let them sit while i went to work, when i came back there was a ton of white goo all over the brushes and the bristles are all messed up now, this happen to anyone else?
p.s. it works great on plastic parts
