I have a 93 CV and the light for parking break on the dash was flashing on and off for two days. I decided to push the press and depress the parking brake to see if that would eliminate the problem. When I depressed the brake nothing happened, the parking break remained engaged and now after numerous attempts the parking break refuses to disengage. Can anyone help me????????, thanks.

Re: Parking Break Stuck!!!!!!! Can anyone help me
Does your car roll when you release the brake?
Did you check the fluid level? Brake light on dash may come on for a number of reasons, ie. low fluid, bad master cylinder, parking brake on, worn brake pads if you have wear sensors. |

The parking brake is stuck, it refuses to release. Is there a way to disengage it without using the normal release pad?

Re: Parking Break Stuck!!!!!!! Can anyone help me
ither the front cable is hanging up or the actuators are rusted together on the rear backing plate. Vics are bad about the front cable getting cut where it goes through the body behind the plastic inner fender.
