I have a dillemma!! (HELP)
Okay, here goes:
I am replacing my current non-VTEC SOHC LX motor. I currently have two choices, both of which I can afford, including install, but not much further. I have a choice between a) a JDM SirII b16a for $2,350.00 or b) a JDM b18c for $3,300.00. I'm looking at these engines from www.hondamotors.com. My dillemma is this: should I buy the slightly (180HP VS 170HP, and 126TQ VS 113TQ) more powerful b18 for a thousand more, or should I just buy the b16 for a thousand less and use the extra grand to modify it? Keep in mind, if I buy the b18, I really won't be able to afford to modify it beyond an intake and exhaust. At least not right now. If you're gonna vote, I request you give me a comment.

I'd go with the B16A.
cuz for the $1000 you save, you can get a used crank, rods, ITR pistons and ITR camshafts and have yourself a B18C5 on the cheap. |

Hmmmmmm, good point drift. HMO has some of those for sale cheap. You think I should with the ITR or CTR pistons?
