Loss of Power at certain temp. (PLEASE HELP)...
Hello again, ok i've narrowed it down to what i believe to be causing this. Ok when the car gets to a certain running temperature it loses alot of power, it's associated with stalling & very erratic idle. But when the car is basically cold or has'nt been used in few hours it runs rather excellent. It has'nt overheated on me or anything, new plugs/wires, i know my carb could use a rebuild. It's an 85 1.5 Yes, carbed model! Anyone had this happen before? Advice/Help much appreciated!

Well if you say it's carbed then you might want to have that all cleaned for one. And for two....at what temp does it lose it's power?

Mine does the same thing, but I have a 90 si. When I'm first driving it, it runs great. But after about 20 mins, it loses almost all power in low rpms, almost stalling unless I rev up to like 3500 rpms before fully letting the clutch out. Good luck with fixing, one of the reasons I'd like to do a swap soon.
