Re: Nitrous placement

well, best place for the tank is usually the trunk, but especialy for us. you want to keep the tank warm for higher internal pressures, and with our muffler being right under the trunk it gets pretty toasty back there. youll have to drill holes to run the lines out and under the car (i dont know if its a law, but personally i think youd be a moron to want to run the lines on the inside of your car.) you also have to run your purge lines on the outside of the vehicle, the popular placement is the cowl so when you purge you get those big vapor clouds that everyone sees. as far as your fuel and nitrous solenoids, im not entirely sure.

Re: Nitrous placement

great place for your buttons is the ashtray. there is a display setup that fits right in there with 4 buttons. the bottle well most people i know have it either where the t-tops go or where the jack and spare tire goes. with that u will need a remote opener (which i personaly dont like) i would rather trust myself opening and ensuriing my bottle is closed all the way than letting a device do it. or u can be like me and laydown your back seats or take them out and put the bottle behind u. that way u can reach them. mines is straped to the back of my rear seats when they are layed down.as for keeping it warm i would suggest a bottle warmer i dont know anyone who doesnt have a warmer. as for the set up under the hood. some people hide the cylanoids some people run them up the throttle body, i myself dont care if people see what i have so u can see my stuff.

Bottle: In the trunk or if you mount it in the pasenger compartment you need to run a vent tube outsid ethe car from the bottle. Track Rules

Lines need to exit outside the car from the bottle to theengine or no track will allow you to run wit it.

Purge anywhere that meets your fancy.

Switches: Think what would be most pratical places for your use and when you want to reach them.

cigs are good, they shave those shity years at the end of life off...

you could always mount the switches on that thing that runs between the t-tops... thats where im planning on mounting mine...

Re: Nitrous placement

That would be right in your face if you put it on your ceiling. You could just put it on the driveshaft hump between your back seats. A friend of mine put his there. And it gets warm there because of the exhaust pipe right below it.

Re: Nitrous placement

lol, GTstang, gotta remember, third and fourth gen camaros dont really have trunks, even if the bottle is mounted in the "trunk" its still basically in the passenger compartment.
