Cost-effective exhaust
Hi All,
I am looking to buy full-length, 1 5/8 headers and a rumbly cat-back exhaust system to use with the off-road pipe (no cats) on my 1982 Mustang GT, which has a mild, carbureted street motor and the double-hump crossmember. I need to have the full system with tailpipes (although sans cats) to pass state inspection. Any suggestions for components on a tight budget, $600 perhaps? Thanks, Dale |

Re: Cost-effective exhaust
Not sure about the rest of it but I got a MAC cat back for 300. It sounds and looks good on the car. I don't think you will be getting cats if you are on a 600 dollar budget though. I think the Headers will be the most expensive part.
